Why not take advantage of the powerhouse that is the Atrix and try out some of these apps.
Blogger App
Just like the Blogger App on your PC why not use the new Atrix’s multimedia dock or Lapdock to write, upload and express your opinions. It’s easier to use the Motorola accessories than the touch screen keyboard of most other phones.
DocumentstoGo
Download this paid app that allows you remote access to view and edit your MS Office documents on the go. Once again the Atrix’s keyboard and mouse can be utilised to the full with this app.
SlideIt
Instead of the keyboard though why not download SlideIt. It allows you to type up to 40wpm using the sliding motion across the keys that’s been available in most button touch mobiles for the last ten years. Increase productivity and save hours on writing emails.
NESoid
NESoid is a Nintendo 8MB emulator app that allows you to download and play all the old games of your childhood. Nintendo are a tad irked, but have done nothing to stop you beating the Legend of Zelda on your Atrix.
Sanity
This app wisely turns off all 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections when you receive a call. The idea is to help you avoid the nasty signals when your phone is beside your precious brain.
Wave Secure
Allows you to find and track your lost phone using SMS and 3G technology, as well as giving you the option to remotely wipe data from it if it goes missing.
Flixster
Flixster gives you the entire lowdown on latest cinema releases, as well as allowing you to book tickets for the cinema through the app.
Astro File Manager
With the array of files on your phone taking up the Atrix’s up to 48GB, you’ll need some sort of order. Fortunately Astro File Manager does his for you.
Google Goggles
When out and about, point the Atrix’s camera at any object and it will give you information on its history among other things – a fine example of how to utilise AR on a phone.
Google Maps 5
The most modern of the Google Maps family, with new 3D vector mapping, as well as all the other wonderful gadgetry that makes Google Maps a force to be reckoned with.
This list of apps should make the already great experience of the Motorola Atrix even more enjoyable.
